VIEWPOINT

Viewpoint is an exhibition exploring a different side of Iceland. It gathers a diverse range of work by a group of Icelandic artists, each offering their own unique perspective. The images capture moments often overlooked: chasms in the landscape, desolate fields, mundane urban life, and striking juxtapositions of nature and human presence. The exihibition is ongoing and will travel through North America before arriving home in Iceland with the support of Icelandair. Following the exhibition Icelandair offers an art break on Time Square billboards in New York with images from the exhibiting artist. The artists are the following: Einar Falur Ingólfsson, Elvar Örn Egilsson, Jói Kjartans, María Kjartans and Snædís Malmquist.
